The Rising Sun in Tarporley, Cheshire approached us to carry out a complete refurbishment on the pub in April 2017. The works took 8 weeks to complete and involved knocking down internal walls, brand new brickwork, installing a modern fireplace, fitting new electrics, joinery works and shotblasting of the oak beams to restore them to their natural glory.
We also carried out landscaping works in the outdoor dining area and fitted modern stonework flooring, along with new contemporary seating areas for customers to enjoy.
One issue we came across was due to working with old walls, the joists had rotted beyond repair. So we installed new joists and rebuilt the pub to make it more structurally sound and up to date.
As you can see from the before and after pictures, the finished look is an inviting, modern looking pub.
