Togal Contractors approached us in June 2017 to carry out a large extension to Huck’s Diner at Centerparcs in Woburn, Buckinghamshire. This was a large project which involved a lot of concreting work and adding steelworks into the cement to make the building structurally sound.
We had a few issues to contend with, such as having to remove major amounts of concrete out of the old footing. As well as this, the restaurant remained open during the extension building, so we had to be aware of the public and adhere to strict health and safety regulations at all times. We were also working in a confined space, which made the job more complex as we had hoarding surrounding us to keep us separate from the restaurant goers and also to keep them safe from the building works.
The large extension was completed in 4 weeks and the customers were very happy with the yellow stonework finish.
